For Blues:The Blues beat the Hurricanes 33-22 at Kerikeri in a Super Rugby warm up match making it two wins from two in their pre-season.The Blues beat the Highlanders last weekend in a similar warm up match and have started the year strongly while the Hurricanes beat the Chiefs last week.In front of around 4500 spectators former All Black Ali Williams made it through his first match in New Zealand since rupturing his Achilles a year ago.

For Hurricanes:Former Crusaders assistant and now Hurricanes coach Mark Hammett says he has more on his mind than going up against his former Crusaders Boss Todd Blackadder.The Hurricanes are scheduled to meet the Crusaders in Wellington and will be coming off a disappointing loss to the Highlanders in the opening round of this seasons Super rugby."I haven't even thought about the matchup with Todd, to be quite honest," he told NZPA.
